Macarthur Square Launches New Amenities For People With Disabilities
Macarthur Square launches a vital new facility for people with disabilities, including a Changing Places facility and a Disability Access Guide to coincide with International Day of People with Disabilities. The Changing Places facility is an adult change facility that enables people with severe and profound disabilities, and their carers, to go to the bathroom with dignity.
Macarthur Square’s Changing Places facility is fully accredited, and is the first of its kind in a South West Sydney shopping centre. The facility is fully accessible and fitted with a change table and hoist. The new Disability Access Guide is a important resource that will assist people with disabilities and their carers to plan their visit to Macarthur Square.
The Guide will direct customers to lift access, disabled parking bays, the Changing Places facility, disabled restrooms and renting disability scooters.
